SPIRO-MATIC AD - 1969

 

This original ad for Spiro-matic is from a mail order catalogue dated 1969.

And with that, I have now reached the end of this little blogging venture.
Just thought I'd put some info up about the toy which often gets overlooked when referring to 60's childhood.
So that's me finished what I set out to do - and it's nice to know I managed to beat Damien Hirst to spin painting by a good few years!!

So starting with this one here - a bold spidery blue with a dash of white and swish of yellow!

The result of this one has a kind of wheel in motion effect, albeit with multi-coloured spokes!
